Aztec Achievements
The Aztecs had many achievements. They made a magnificent capital city, had beautiful jewelery, mosaics, and featherwork, and had many architectural accomplishments.
Tenochtitlan
The capital city the Aztecs built was very magnificent. It had lots of canals, avenues, causeways, chinampas, temples, and buildings. The biggest building was a temple called Templo Mayor.
Art and Crafts
The Aztecs made lots of crafts such as jewelery, pottery, mosaics, and featherwork.
Architecture
The Aztecs had many advanced architecural mechanisms. For example, they made chinampas, which were floating gardens, aqueducts to carry water, many canals and avenues, and dikes to prevent flooding and to circulate the water.
